Is it possible to mark a post to indicate you want to take a look at it again? I keep finding myself wanting to do this.

At the top of this thread you can see the following line: "Subscribe topic | Bookmark topic | Print view | E-mail friend Previous topic | Next topic"

I assume "Bookmark topic" is what you are searching for.

No. It is a particular posting within a topic that I am interested in marking.

Than you can make simply a browser-bookmark.

Search your post and put it at the top of the page. It's possible not only to select page, you can say the starting post.
Example:
http://forum.81squareuniverse.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=237&start=32
is one of your post.

That didn't actually tell me how to select the post, but I figured out that clicking on the posted icon does the trick (it actually uses &p rather than &start).

Actually, whilst bookmarking in the browser is fine for long-term references, what I was really interested was marking for the short term (a few hours or even a day or two) - posts I want to come back to within a few hours). So I'd rather have a facility within the forum to do just that - View marked posts.

Would that be possible?

When you post a reply or making a post, there is an option below the textbox that will allow you to be notified. Check the box for "Notify me when a reply is posted".

That's a completely different matter.
